The Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys (formerly known as the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc) was first built for the 1929 international exhibition. In 1989 the city redesigned it for the Olympics games of 1992. Located in Montjuic close to the Olympic village, the stadium can host 56 000 people. Today it is also the home of the RCD Espanyol, first division football team. It is also the most important Barcelona outside scene for many concert such Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Madona and many more.
