Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso was born in Malaga the 25th of October 1881, Painter, draughtsman and sculptor Picasso is the first son of a middle class family of Andalucía. His father also was a painter specialized in naturalistic subjects. In 1895, after the tragic death of his sister, his family decided to move to Barcelona where he studied in the Fine Arts school of Barcelona. Picasso had lots of behaviour problems at school but at 13 was already impressing its teachers. Later his father send him in Madrid to continue his studies. Picasso was impressed by El Greco, often in his work you can observe the influence he gets from the Spanish painter. The Picasso museum of Barcelona proposes his early Works, the most comprehensive records of his early career with famous pieces like The First Communion (1896) or Portrait of Aunt Pepa, without a doubt one of the greatest in the whole history of Spanish painting. Later Picasso will travel in France and will found the Cubism style, then followed by the blue and rose period.
